Description

ABREX 500 is a through hardened abrasion resistant steel plate with a nominal hardness of around 515 BHN. It is one of the most widely used wear resistant grades, offering an excellent combination of impact resistance, formability, weldability, and abrasion resistance.

ABREX 500 plates provide nearly four times the abrasion resistance of ordinary structural steel plates, significantly extending the service life of mechanical components. They are available in thicknesses ranging from 5 mm to 50 mm.

With a hardness of approximately 500 HBW, ABREX 500 plates can endure severe impact forces from large rocks and other heavy materials. Variants such as ABREX 500, SUMIHARD 500, and ROCKSTAR 500 ensure the production of high quality, lightweight, yet durable machinery capable of withstanding extreme wear and tear conditions.
